Il gioiello che riceverai sarà accompagnato da una mappa dell'isola e da questo breve racconto stampato su carta:

Erano gli anni '50 del 1900 e, quando i venti lo permettevano, dal piccolo molo posto a sud partivano barche cariche di formaggi. A quel tempo l'isola era abitata da capre, mucche e da un pastore barbaricino chiamato a badare le greggi e a lavorarne il latte.
Deserta forse non lo era mai stata Molara perchè nei secoli era diventata rifugio per monache e pirati saraceni; raccontano le cronache che fu terra d'esilio anche per un papa – Ponziano - poi diventato santo perché perseguitato dall'imperatore Massimiliano il Trace.
Quando una coppia di giovani amanti decise di fuggire via mare dall'ostilità della famiglia di lei che si opponeva all'unione, l'isola accolse tra le sue minuscole spiagge anche quella storia.
Una grotta diventò il loro riparo e il canto del vento accompagnò quella prima notte di libertà e amore. Arrivò al mattino il padre della giovane, armato fino ai denti e fu compito del pastore calmare quell'uomo accecato dall'ira del tradito onore: pare che, essendo abituato a parlare alle capre , riuscì a essere convincente anche con il burbero padre.
Gli amanti ebbero così la meglio e l'uomo acconsentì finalmente alle nozze.

In the 1950s, when the wind was kind enough, cheese-laden ships sailed from the minute harbor in the south. At the time the island was inhabited by goats, cows and a single shepherd from the inner regions of Sardinia, Barbagia, living there to care for the herds and harvest their milk.
Perhaps, however, Molara was never completely deserted, as the centuries saw it become a refuge for both nuns and Saracen pirates. Historical accounts narrate how the island had become the place of exile for a pope – Ponziano – who was later canonized as a saint for enduring the long oppression of the Roman emperor Maximinus Thrax.
When a young couple of lovers ran there by sea from the hostility of her parents who were against their union, the thin shores of the island welcomed their story as well: a cave sheltered them and the songs of the wind lulled their first night of love and freedom. With the morning came the young woman’s father, a man armed to the teeth furious and wounded in his honor. The young lover, who the story says was used to soothe his sheep, managed to calm the man down and convince him of the goodness of this union: the lovers came out victorious and their families finally allowed their wedding.
